
Bananas are creamy, sweet and absolutely adorable. Everybody loves those fruits and they are definitely great ingredients to use in making all kinds of raw vegan goodies. A wonderful source of potassium, bananas go well with greens in making smoothies and also with forest fruits, chocolate and nut flavors and taste divine when mixed with spices such as cinnamon or vanilla. Yum!
One simple raw cake that we can make with bananas is a chocolate banana cake. It is both crunchy and creamy from the crust and filling and it only takes about 15 minutes to be made and then another 1-2 hours in the freezer.
For the crust we need the following ingredients:
50 g brazil nuts
50 g dates
Vanilla, cinnamon
1 Tbs cacao butter
2 Tbs coconut oil.

The cream filling is made by mixing 2 layers, a banana layer and a chocolate layer.
The ingredients for the banana layer are:
2 ripe bananas
1-2 tbs agave syrup
2 tbs coconut oil
1/2 cup almond or coconut milk
and for the chocolate filling we need the following:
1/2 cup carob or cacao powder
2 tbs cacao butter
2 tbs coconut oil
1/2 banana
1/2 cup coconut or almond milk.
Mix those lovely tasting goodies together, one layer on top of the other and put the banana cake into the freezer for 1-2 hours. When it is done just slice it and enjoy this amazing raw chocolate feeling with your friends and family members. Feel the joy of serving a healthy and fulfilling raw dessert.
