Chocolate Chips

Chocolate is one of the best desserts that we can enjoy and of course we all love chocolate one way or another. Usually when we buy chocolate from the supermarket most of the products have lots of processed sugars added to them but there are also exceptions like brands made of organic ingredients and pure chocolate products. But if we really want to have a delightful experience we can make our own chocolate adding exactly what ingredients we love and we know that are good for our health.

A crunchy and delicious chocolate recipe to make is raw vegan chocolate chips. They taste absolutely amazing, this is a great source of antioxidants and a wonderful energizer for the body and mind.

For this recipe we use the following ingredients:

cacao butter

coconut oil

agave nectar or coconut sugar/nectar

carob or cacao powder

a mix of dried fruits: raisins, dates, figs, etc

coconut flakes.

We use as much as we want of this ingredients depending on how much chocolate we want to make so feel free to measure your own quantities. First we melt the coconut oil and the cacao butter and then we mix them with the sweetener of choice and the cacao or carob powder until we have a smooth and creamy consistency. Next step is to find a box or some cookie forms to put our chocolate in. We sprinkle the dried fruits and the coconut flakes and then we put it in the freezer for a few hours to get a nice consistency.

When it is ready we can take it out of the freezer and cut small pieces of it and now we can enjoy this deliciousness with our lovely friends and family members. Choosing raw vegan delights as treats is a wonderful and delicious choice in order to improve our health and find amazing tasting foods. Feel free to incorporate all kinds of spices or super foods in your chocolate and find what you enjoy most!
