I love oat flakes and I am so happy that there are also gluten free oat flakes on the market and it is getting easier and easier to find them. I think this is a really good thing since oats are absolutely delicious and nutritious and a wonderful fulfilling meal choice. Oat flakes can be used to make raw vegan cookies, cake crusts, oat drinks and smoothies, raw breads and so on and they are definitely a very healthy choice.

This week I have decided to try to make a nice oat cake with some nuts and prunes, cinnamon and delicious oat flakes. For this recipe I used the following ingredients:
200 g gluten free oat flakes
150 g nuts
150 g prunes
2-3 tbs coconut oil
2-3 tbs agave nectar
cinnamon
maca powder.
To make this cookies we use a food processor and mix all the ingredients until we get a thick and sticky consistency and then we can take it out of the food processor and make our delicious oat cookies.

Those cookies look and taste absolutely amazing. They are crunchy and delicious and a wonderful treat to share with your lovely friends and family members.
