Food Market

I can see that there are more and more companies and products that are being launched into the food market nowadays more that in any other time before. There is definitely a demand that has to be met and as new companies and products appear and present their vision, the already existing ones have sometimes to change their focus and even their strategies in order to adapt to those constant changing public demands.

The products have to be appealing in order to attract customers and sometimes more and more customers are needed by the corporate industry in order to fulfill their marketing plans. Well, while I find it interesting and a good thing the fact that vegan products are more and more available and the more there is a demand from customers for those kinds of products then the more producers will get involved into this exchange of services, when the advertising industry gets involved, sometimes things go a little bit crazy. It is good to point out the benefits of using a product, to describe it, to be honest about its use but from this point to the place where one food because “the best food” or “the only cure” there is only one step for this promoting strategy. There is no such thing as only one food item that we have to eat or the one that brings all the nutrients that our bodies need. When we are talking about solving problems it gets even worse. Food is a choice that we are making in order to connect to our bodies, to be true to ourselves and live the life that we have always been dreaming of, but food can not actually solve our problems, food is just a part of the bigger picture and while it contributes to our health it is not the only thing that we should be discussing when we think about a healthy life.

Of course making foods appealing is a strategy that can be brought to good uses such as promoting really healthy products or making transitioning to a more healthy lifestyle more vibrant and more attractive. The more we like the foods that we are putting on our tables, the more we are then actually going to be able to stick with a healthy lifestyle plan. All we have to do is to find those foods that we really love and always remember that we can even make them appealing by our own way of serving them. A healthy food does not have to come in a fancy packaging in order for us to find it appealing, there are also things like the way we prepare, the way we serve it that can influence our perception of that food.

Most importantly, I think, is to just be true to our selves and listen to our bodies as they are always telling us what we really need. All we have to do is to just tune in to that inner guidance that is offering us all the support that we need in order to achieve better health, make more conscious choices based on compassion and kindness and learn how to make those awareness practices became a consistent part of our daily lives. Always listen to yourself and know that you are the only one responsible for your own way of living your life, feel free to experiment and find what work best for your body and mind.
