Fig Bars

There is one thing that I really love about making raw vegan foods a part of a conscious lifestyle and that thing would be the look of those delicious foods. I mean, no matter what you try or how you mix all those delightful goodies there is always going to be so much joy, color and fulfillment in raw vegan foods. I do believe that when we feed ourselves colorful and delightful foods then what we really get in return is an amazing way of being nice and kind to our bodies as well as being nice and kind to the planet and all living beings at all. One thing that I absolutely love about being aware of the foods we put into our bodies is exactly this amazing idea of being kind and compassionate to ourselves and to all living beings. I think that when we bring this kind of visions into the world, we are actually bringing an absolutely wonderful contribution to the idea of manifesting our dreams in order to make them come true.

Because I absolutely love raw vegan desserts, today is all about delicious and fulfilling, healthy and nutritious raw vegan goodies, meaning a delightful recipe for making some amazing raw vegan fig bars. Figs are so sweet and delicious and I just love to use them as snack, raw vegan cake crusts and even delicious raw vegan cream spreads. Yum! So, today is all about crunchy bars so lets see what are the ingredients that we need in order to make this delicious raw vegan recipe.

For our fig bars, we are going to need the following ingredients:

100 g dried figs

100 g dried plums

100 g pumpkin seeds

100 g sunflower seeds

vanilla, cinnamon.

We use a food processor to mix together all the ingredients for the fig bars and then we just make our bars. Next step is making our delicious cashew spread to pour on top of our beautiful and delightful fig bars. For the cashew spread we need the following ingredients:

100 g cashews

3-4 tbsp agave nectar

juice of 1 lemon

water.

We use a blender and mix all the ingredients for the cashew cream until they reach a creamy and smooth consistency. We can add as little or as much water we want to depending on how thick we want our cream spread to be. If you prefer it more fluid, just add more water, if you want it thicker just add a little bit of water. This cashew cream is absolutely divine and you are definitely going to just love it. Final step is, of course, pouring our delicious cashew cream on top of our lovely fig bars and now our fig bars are ready to be enjoyed.
