Dried Tomatoes Salad Dressing

Died tomatoes are so good and they taste absolutely divine. I just love using them for all kinds of raw vegan salad dressing or even raw vegan veggie spreads. Of course we can also use them as toppings on top of a delicious salad or any other amazing raw vegan recipe. Dried tomatoes can be found both in natural food stores as well as in the conventional supermarkets. They usually stand next to the olives section of spices section of the store, but you can always ask the employees of the store as well and see if they have got some dried tomatoes somewhere in the store. Usually they come in two formats: dried tomates in a bag, which are pretty simple, maybe with a few spices added to them and in the jar format where they might be just dried tomatoes in sunflower seed oil (usually), or they can be sharing the jar with some other things like olives for example. Anyway, they just taste amazing so they are definitely worth trying, not just for a raw vegan life, but also as a wonderful addition to any other recipes of your choice.

Today`s recipe is a delicious, yummi, super tasty raw vegan dried tomatoes salad dressin, which if you make it thicker as for the consistency, you can also use it as a delicious and delightful veggie spread. For this recipe, we are going to use the following ingredients:

1-2 tbsp dried tomatoes

1-2 tbsp cold pressed sunflower seed oil

1 cup  soaked sunflower seeds

3-4 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes

5-7 cherry tomatoes

1/2 cup water

juice of 1/2 lemon.

We use a blender to mix all the ingredients together until we get a smooth and creamy texture. You can use as much water as you wish, more or less than 1/2 cup, just make sure to add as much water as you need in order to get the consistency that you are hopping for. If you wish for a chunckier and maybe even thicker texture of the dressing, just add less water and turn this beautiful and amazing recipe into a delicious tomato spread. YUM! You can enjoy this recipe right away or you can also keep it in the fridge for a few days as well.
