Super Fiber Mix

I absolutely love fiber sources coming from amazing seeds, nuts, plant based complexes and all this amazing goodness. I loved psyllium husk from the moment I discovered it. It is probably one of the most concentrated fiber sources and it does the body good. Of course, just like other fiber sources it is very important to mix it with water and to drink enough water in order to have it work and do its amazing magic and help us live a happy healthy and fullfilling life. I like to mix it simply with water many times, or just add it to my breakfast recipes or a salad mix. Another great source of fiber that I love is flaxseed. I mostly use flaxseeds for salads, but I recently started to also add this amazing fiber source to my breakfast smoothies, puddings or other recipes. Flaxseeds are also a great source of omega-3s, which makes them as well a super powerful choice for living a conscious, healthy, balanced lifestyle. We can also find flaxseed oil out there on the market which is great as well, as a wonderful source of healthy fats as well as omega-3s. Other choices that I absoluttely love and adore as fiber filled and super nutritious lifestyle choices are hemp seeds and chia seeds. Chia seeds are great by themselves, they make an absolutely amazing and super filling pudding when mixed with some veggie drink or milk and are also a great source of omega-3s and have a great ration of omega-3s to omega-6s, which is quite important for thriving in today`s day and age. Hemp seeds are also great, great source of not only fiber, but good protein as well.

I love to get my fiber in the morning as a regular, general rule, therefore I have lately decided to make a mix of fiber and other goodies, I usually mix the plant based ingredients mentioned above: flaxseeds, chia, hemp, psyllium and I also love to add some coconut flakes and a great source of healthy fats such as tahini, coconut butter or flaxseed oil, mixing it all together with some veggie milk or drink and make a pudding like porridge consistency. I then add some berries or coconut flakes on top of it and it is just super nourishing, delicious and nutritious. It is also super good for its glicemic index levels, meaning, it helps the blood sugar stay regular and avoid blood sugar spikes which can occur when we load up on carbohydrates or just simple sugars in general. Sometimes, I might even add some gluten free oats to this mix, or millet flakes if I feel like I need a bit more carbohydrates in my breakfast, but usually this mainly fiber and fats mix is just great for me as a wonderful way to start my day. I also love plain chia puddings, but I found that I find them more filling and satiating if I just add some extra fibers or extra healthy fats, such as coconut oil or coconut butter or tahini, which I just love and thrive on. Feel free to share those amazing recipes and ideas for breakfast mixes and recipes with your lovely friends and family members and enjoy getting healthy together in a conscious, healthy, balanced and sustainable way. Trust the process, enjoy the journey and know that you can trully and fully do anything and everything you set your mind to!
